On To The TBull 10/14 and 10/15

Back to the Twisted Bull, friendly confines and armed with some new materials and fully rested. Friday night went without a hitch, the new songs sounded great. All in all it was a great start to the weekend. Nice to see familiar faces...Helen Wu (still crippled). But Pam, on the other hand is hobbled no more...now she can earn her keep again. Saturday night started out on a high note, big crowd expected! Brandy is here and is ready to party! (We love it when she gets loose!!). Shaky Sean is looking great in his Cookie Monster shirt that his 2 year old granddaughter picked out for him, what a great grandpa he is to wear it. DJ is sporting his ball cap backwards ready to ROCK! Jammin Joe was smoking as the night starts and kept the fire going until the last song was finished. Rockin Rusty is well... Rockin Rusty, keeping the baseline straight on (at least this time he kept his hat straight). It was nice to see "Stalker Couple" Greg and Darcy, Jammin Joe's bro Scott and gal pal, DJ's sister Laura and Brian, and Jamie and Dan (who were anxiously awaiting last call so Jamie could go home and tend to the "DISHES"). All the great line dance crew, Debbie Hurley (DJ's lost cousin) among others. Lot's of crowd interaction as the night progressed, the guest singers were steller and the men won the singing contest, although the band had a hand in that one. Brandy was whoopin it up on and off stage...she had a great time. Jammin Joe narrowly missed being sliced in 2 by Shaky Sean's falling symbol, thankfully no damage. Thanks to Pam, Wu and the TBull staff for help getting the gear back into the trailer...we sure appreciate it. Now it's a week off while the recordings are on. See you in a few weeks!

Finally band practice 10/08/11

Stolen Horses Band finally gets a chance to rehearse some new materials! On the agenda is a new song from Dierks Bently..."Does Anybody Want To Have Fun Tonight?", Justin Moores's soon to be a hit "Bait A Hook", Kieth Urban's "Some Days You Gotta Dance" and tweaking Jason Aldean's previous hit "She's Country". It's amazing that the boys in this band can work on their own and bring it to practice and put it all together so fast!! As we run down songs, Rockin Rusty can always add color to songs by changing the words! (Usually blue in nature) It looks like we may have to start bringing a pair of heels to our shows as props for the Dierk's song...something about lifting her heels over her head? Shaky Sean says the Miller Lite tastes great...it helps him slow down She's Country. Jammin Joe phenomenal job adding his signature pickin to "Bait A Hook", Rockin Rusty says we should change the name to "She Can Cook"...(Rusty's always thinking about food". DJ's vocals on "Bait A Hook and Does Anybody Wanna Have Fun Tonight" came together nicely. WE DO need some practice if we start "Dierks song with the rendition of "Sweet Emotion"...just sayin. Great practice, looking forward to putting them in the set list. Brandy and Pam added the frosting on the cake...great dinner spaghetti with lemon bars and apple carmel pie. Everything is back in the trailer and ready to go, see you at the show!

D Bar D First Annual Charity Ride

Saturday September 24th ROCKED! First ever D Bar D Charity Ride to benefit the Spectrum Health Red City Cancer Center. The band arrived at the ranch campground to the smell of campfires and livestock. DJ went got to go for a horseback ride courtesy of "Cool Guy". But just like the story of the S.S. Minow (Gilligan's Island) DJ went for a 15 minute ride and almost didn't come back due to his guide getting them lost in the woods....we suspect that an adult beverage or many had something to do with the failure of the navigation...yet another Stolen Horses Adventure! Just as the band unloaded the gear under the roof, it poured rain! The campers that were being fed did not let this bother them and they sat down where they could to eat some great country style chow. Rockin Rusty's dad and wife were there all the way from sunny Florida, it was nice to finally meet them! Equipment was being set in place as the steady line of criminals led to the "jail". Everyone had to post bail to get out...This was another way, as well as a silent auction to raise funds for this event. Dinner was delicious although the band members and staff cringed as Shaky Sean heaped his plate with beans...quickly hoovering Stolen Horses Style. We would not have a shortage of gas on the ride home tonight! The band was in stride as Don and Diane finally got to relax and cut loose. The scene was amazing, bon fire, dancing, singing and a lot of HAPPY CAMPERS! In true Stolen Horses fashion the band always tries to get everyone involved and turn tonight was no exception as Shaky Sean invited one of the younger fans to join him and play Bob Seger's "Turn The Page"! Many people looked on and cheered as this future star was beaming with excitement! Many of the vendors on sight donated portions of their sales for the day to the cause, like Mustang Sally's Tack Shop who donated 10% of her sales for the day. By the way Sally is now a new Stolen Horses fan...We also want to thank Vickie Butler for giving the D Bar D our name. All in all the night was awesome and  had a whole heck of a lot of fun, we hope to be back next year. We understand that the goal was exceeded almost 3 fold! Way to go!

Twisted Bull

Friday night we are back at the Twisted Bull...YeeeeeHaaawwww! Nice to see the great staff at the T-Bull again after a long Summer. The Stolen Horses favorite line dancers came out in full force to start the night on Friday and the band picked up where they had left off the night before. Nice to see faces from the casino crowd show up to support the band on Friday. It was family night for DJ, as his son Travis, girlfriend Jenny, his Mom and step Dad were there supporting West Michigan's premier country band! Helen Wu made her grand appearance on crutches and realized that both her and Pam had a lot in common....they are both gimps on crutches and have filed for "handicap" parking passes. Saturday night was the "Bachorlette Party" night as 3 different brides to be were in attendance looking for a party...and the Horses obliged with some ROCKIN country. We want to thank Travis and Co. for helping us set a record for tear down on a single night! Also thanks to Wu for the great food after the show despite her broken foot. Every one involved with Stolen Horses enjoyed the feast. Just a word of advice from Pam and Wu...don't drink and crutch just sayin.

Gun Lake Casino

The day started with a call from DJ to Shaky Sean. It wasn't looking good for DJ to be back in time for the gig. Shaky Sean SPRUNG into action sending texts to Rockin Rusty and Jammin Joe. The guys pulled together in true Stolen Horses style and knew what they had to do. Early afternoon the horses got word the "Master" DJ would indeed make it to the gig. Shaky Sean was pulling the band trailer but something felt wrong. He realized that he had the SMALL ball but needed the LARGER ball....(sounded like a personal problem to us) so he pulled off the expressway and quickly changed BALLS right in the parking lot. Rocking Rusty and Jammin Joe were already at the gig and raring to go. DJ made his entrance shortly before show time. The horses came out of the GATE and ROCKED the stage. Jammin Joe tried his hand at twirling Shaky Sean's drum stick....he really should stick to playing his guitar...poor guy. The stage here is a little unconventional...right behind the bar, you feel like you are right on top of the bar...WAIT we ARE right on top of the bar. The crowd was great. Lot's of people walked in and stayed which was great to see. We also noticed people at the slots tapping their feet and bobbing their heads to the beat. Jammin Joe broke in the stage by knocking over a cold glass of beer. As the night progressed the crowd became more energetic and boisterous! Rockin Rusty's version of "Watermelon Crawl/I Like Big Butts" turned a whole lot of heads. We had a great time and apparantly received word that we are returning to Gun Lake Casino on Tuesday November 1st.

September 9 and 10

Friday night we rolled into Otsego MI at the M89 Sports Bar and played a show. Great staff and good food. Slow but responsive crowd. The most entertainment came from Robin the tambourine girl enough said... After a quick tear down of backline equipment the Horses were once again chauffered by our "driver" Pam. On to Saturday afternoon...the band met at the Horse Master's house for the short trip back to Grand Rapids for Celebration on the Grand. After we arrived we realized the benefits of not arriving half in the bag like some othe not to be named acts. Our professionalism and energy did not go unnoticed and the Horses put on a SPECTACULAR set. After the show as our equipment was being loaded into the trailer DJ realized that the guitar he had picked up and was about to load into the trailer was not his....in fact to meet a star all you need to do is steal his guitar. Hunter Hayes was a GREAT sport understanding that it was an accident and even posed for a picture with The Stolen Horses Band. From there the band ventured back down to M89 Sports Bar for another show ending a long weekend.

Sunday September 4th at the Driftwood

Power in Croton was restored and Stolen Horses got the word that show would go on. The band arrived about 1 and started setting up. Set up went with out a hitch....no pun intended. As show time neared the discussion was all about the storm damage. Pam and her daughter Samara came in right before we played and well wishing hugs were plentiful. DJ's family came in and more hugs were exchanged with Lori...we were very happy that all were safe. The crowd got larger as the afternoon went on including Shaky Sean's boss Dar who was reluctant to come up on stage and sing when she was announced as the former Michigan State Karaoke Champion. She received a rave response from the crowd even as she turned to Shaky Sean and told him he was FIRED! Davey Carter from Mane Street as well as Tim Bengston came up and played a few songs with us. Our good friend Victor and his son were out in the crowd enjoying the music. All in all it was great ending to a troubled weekend.

Saturday August 3rd

.....Saturday morning was an adventure and not one that you would want to remember. Right around 9 a.m. a storm came through with winds about 80 mph hail and tons of rain. This woke Pam up as Jammin Joe and DJ still slept from the night before. All of a sudden there was a crack and Pam looked out the top of her window and saw a tree break off from about 50 feet up literally snapped it in half. She waited in anticipation and then her worst fears came true as the top of the tree smashed into her roof coming through her bedroom ceiling and livingroom. After a quick head count all were safe but scrambling for what to do next. The next hour was assessing the damage after the rain stopped and then a quick trip down to the Croton campground where DJ's sister Lori and Brian were camping in their pop up camper. When we drove in people were telling us about pop ups being smashed by falling trees, our hearts sunk even more when we found Lori and Brian outside of their smashed pop up. Minutes before a tree fell on the bed they had been sleeping on they had bailed out to run for cover. They were shaken up but ok. After we helped pack up a few things Lori and Brian followed us back to Pam's to look at the damage done to her house. DJ walked over to the Driftwood and came back telling us that the staff fired up a grill and was making all of us breakfast. Shaky Sean and Rockin Rusty received text messages from Jammin Joe telling them about the damage let them know that every one was ok. As the day went on and still no power in Croton the decision was made to cancel the show at the Driftwood.

Hughston's Cow Camp Rodeo in McBain

The band rolled in to the front gate at 7 p.m. to the relief of the security/planners. They thought we had forgotten but...a horse never forgets. At first glance the stage looked rickety, especially with the deer head hanging on the back post...it was intimidating. We set up our gear with the sound of the rodeo in the back ground. The announcer was doing a great job keeping the crowd entertained. Sound check went well as the end of the rodeo was near. As soon as the last rider was finished and the crowd headed to the gates Stolen Horses KICKED up their heels and the show was on. It didn't take long to realize that this place ROCKED! Thanks to the organizers for having us...we hope to return next year! The ride home was full of surprises as well...after a half an hour ride north to Lake City and the nearest open gas station...the Horses were tired and DJ gladly relinquished the wheel to Pam. On the way home as the band was relaxing we encountered a suspected drunk driver who decided that the left side of the road was his as well as ours and a very near miss occurred thanks to some savvy maneuvering of the truck and trailer by our driver Pam. It didn't take long for us to get comfortable and fall asleep knowing that any problem could be handled. With the truck and trailer stored at Pam's house in Croton, Shaky Sean was off to his house. Jammin Joe and DJ opted to stay at Pam's because in a few hours Stolen Horses was scheduled to do an afternoon show at the Driftwood.

Lake Odessa Rock the Port Summer Concert Series

With the horses still missing Shaky Sean drove the trailer and band members minus DJ to Lake Odessa. If it wasn't for Rockin Rusty's fast talking Shaky Sean COULD have gotten a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street while in the store for...well you know. Once at the park the layout from previous years had changed and so did the parking arrangement! Now the equipment had to be hauled (seemed like 2 miles) through rough terrain. DJ arrived exactly as the band hit the first note and the horses were off and running. The weather was fantastic and Cindy and Rachel were gracious hosts, and the line dancers from Grand Rapids were a great touch (even with a broken toe) as the band ROCKED the 2 hour show. Rockin Rusty was a big hit with all of the kids when he gave out complimentary horses while the band played "Save a Horse". Jammin Joe gained a new young fan as this 18 month old stood by the stage mesmerized by Jammin Joe's chicken pickin style...Stolen Horses enjoys seeing the young fans enjoying their music. The night ended with a full park search for Pam's sun glasses (she swears she left them on a speaker) Jammin Joe tried to ease her pain and bought her a new custom pair at the local truck stop...WAY TO SUCK UP JOE! This story to be continued in the next post so be sure to stay tuned.

August 7, 2011 The Driftwood

"Breakfast at Pam's" DJ showed us one of his hidden talents by cooking an awesome breakfast including bacon, eggs and toast...(can't screw that up) for Jammin Joe, Pam and Brandy. Rockin Rusty just watched us eat...it killed him lol. Shaky Sean was no doubt either at home sleeping or more likely working on the new house. After recharging our batteries with a great night's sleep and a great breakfast the band was busy setting up on the deck for the Sunday show...BUT where was Shaky Sean....hmmmm. Half way through set up Shaky Sean waltzed through the gate and immediately pulled the band together on stage for a touching group hug (See Picture on Facebook) the guys were very happy that Shaky Sean had time for a shower so he no longer smelled like a goat! As the show started many of our biggest fans were in attendance...thanks Jodi, Jamie, Jan, Dave, Gail and everyone else. Jammin Joe serenaded Sally on the picnic table. DJ danced barefoot all over the stage again, Rockin Rusty was all smiles and Shaky Sean was just happy to feel clean again. The weather was perfect and the crowd was appreciative. All in all fitting end to the mini tour.

August 5, Rogers City Nautical Fest

The second leg of the Stolen Horses minus one, add two mini tour is today.  We got a later start than planned because DJ and Brandy got stuck behind an accident in Grand Rapids. We met at the park and ride and all piled in the 5th wheel for the long ride to Rogers City. Shaky Sean quickly drank a beer and fell a sleep on the couch (in his defense he did get up and went to work this morning) We all got a chuckle when DJ hit a bump and Shaky Sean went air born. Every one grabbed a spot where they could and made themselves comfy until we reached Lake City where we stopped for gas. About an hour before we reached Rogers City every one was hungry, we ravaged the fridge and made sandwiches which were quickly hoovered....thanks Brandy. The band arrived in Rogers City and pulled in next to the lake...awesome sight. Set up was pretty quick, production was provided and the sound was amazing...little time to relax. Show started at 9 and we were off and running. DJ tripped over a monitor but recovered well...and THEN he...broke another string he's an animal. There's a huge crowd, lot's of dancers and the cold drinks are flowing. The sets flowed well with Jammin Joe and Randy trading off some smokin leads. In true Nautical Festival style by the time the band broke into the song Arizona at 1 a.m. every one was headed to the local pub for last call. Tear down was pretty quick and we all went to crash in the 5th wheel. Lot's of laughter when talking about "Jack Ass". Finally every one fell a sleep where they could find a spot whether it was the couch, chair or the floor. We were on the road again at 6:30 a.m.. 15 minutes out of Rogers City something didn't seem quite right. There was a vibration and a smell of burning rubber. We blew a tire on the 5th wheel. Can you say how many band mates does it take to change one tire? 5 would be the magical number 2 (Jammin Joe and DJ) changing the tire, 1 (Laura) spectator and 2 (Shaky Sean and Randy) to take pictures and video. At one point the trailer was released off the jack, it was a scarey moment when the trailer came down hard on the wood blocks that we used as an emergency stabilizer, the trailer jolted and rocked and then all was quiet (except when Jammin Joe opened the bathroom door wanting to know what had happened while he was peeing. For a second we thought the trailer was going to tip over on the entire band standing in the ditch.
To make matters worse 45 minutes after getting back on the road...more bad news, someone stole the horses out from under the hood of DJ's truck litterally, so we limped into the parking lot of a truck stop, after further investigation DJ figured it was his lifters that had gone bad making it impossible to make it back on our own. Thank god there was a restaurant...air conditioning and vittles (Pam loved the bacon strips that were the size of a pig...just ask Randy) We all enjoyed Randy's description of food processing. The mood changed when Jammin Joe thought of calling Dave and Gail, 2 true Stolen Horses fans. Joe remembered that they also have a 5th wheel with a truck to pull it with. After a quick phone call Dave and Gail agreed to drive from Cedar Springs up to Grayling to come to the rescue. In the mean time some of the band found humor texting while using the restrooms, they just aren;t right. Then there was a GPS training...enough said. Kudos to all involved for keeping a level head and great sense of humor despite of lack of quality sleep, showers and laundry service.
Dave and Gail arrived to an arousing round of applause to haul the band wagon to Croton so we could do the show at The Driftwood. Thanks Dave for breaking the land speed record and getting us there in record time. DJ needs seatbelts in the 5th wheel when Dave is driving.

Cass County Fair

Our mini tour begins minus Rockin Rusty but adding Laura and Randy Springer. We left DJ 's house and had to make our weekly stop at the local Speedway along the way. After buying cheeto's, coffee and energy drinks (no hot dogs cuz Rockin Rusty wasn't with us) we hit the road again. Jammin Joe and Shaky Sean hoovered the cheetos having to lick all the orange coating off their fingers for another snack. The trip down was uneventful. All the tires and engine were in tact. When we arrived at the fair grounds no one knew where to send us, after anplanned tour of the fairgrounds and campground for about 30 minutes we finally arrived at the stage and unloaded. We had to wait to do our sound check because of the wild animal show that featured a tiger. Once the sound check was done we were ready to ROCK the stage. Just as the show started, in true SH fashion DJ broke a string and of course we couldn't find any spares....so this might be one of the few habits he picked up from Mike. During Hick Town Shaky Sean was an animal and broke his kick drum pedal...but HE came prepared with a spare and the show went on. Tina, James and their kids came out to see us, at one point we invited them and a lot of other fans up on the stage to sing Friends In Low Places. Tear down went well until DJ realized he had locked his keys in the trailer. Thankfully he had a spare trailer KEY but had to crawl over the equsipment to get to his truck keys. On the way home The Stolen Horses truck automatically pulled into the Schoolcraft Speedway (the band has frequent flyer points at this place) but Jammin Joe and Pam stepped out of the box and went to McDonalds just down the road. All in all it was a great night, and the addition of Laura on bass and Randy on guitar blended well.

Party on the Deck at The Driftwood

Sunday July 31, 2011 Beautiful day for a PARTY on the deck. Setting up went really good we even had time to visit with some of our fans before we started. Jammin Joe's parents came to watch him play. DJ was the virgin of the group for playing on the deck, we had so much fun being able to kick off our shoes and ROCK the deck! DJ, Jammin Joe and Rusty had a ball getting up on the bench to show off their feet.
DJ did everything but cartwheels on the deck. Shaky Sean made some young boys very happy when he handed out some drum sticks.

We had the 2011 Karaoke Queen of Michigan, Jan come up and sing with us. Not quite sure if it was a sunburn or the embarrassment that made her face so red.

Rockin Rusty's girlfriend Sally decided that the wood chips would be more comfortable than her chair. She gave us a good laugh and was a great sport about it. It was great to see Sally's family all out with her. Her nephew was one of the lucky boys to get a drum stick.

There was a very rowdy out of control table, let's just say these women have no hand control. It was great having Big Spoon, Tea Cup and Twisted Sister come out and PARTY with us.

There were a lot of boats out in front of the deck listening to us and many came up because they couldn't resist joining in the fun. Met some more new fans.

Come out and join us next Saturday and Sunday as we ROCK the deck again!!

Jack's 2nd Annual Hootanany

July 30, 2011 Boats, boats and more boats. We had a beautiful sunny afternoon for a great PARTY! The alcohol was flowing giving some people a healthy glow. Jimmy from Florida the captain of Loose Change a 63' Sea Ray had the best set up, luxury and back stage access. The Stolen Horses Philley's came out to line dance with us. Dave Carter from Main Street and his wife Vicky came out to support us. We had the "Yee Haw" contest and the winner was....Todd Chappin. Great job evey one who participated in this. We had the 2010 Karaoke Queen of Michigan come up and sing with us....thanks Ann Price. We were happy to celebrate Jamie's 29th again birthday with her, there might have been some comment about kitchens during the birthday song that Jammin Joe sang to her.

Thanks to our loyal fans Don & Ann Price, Dave & Gail, Greg & Darcy, Jamie, Kim and Jeff for coming out to PARTY with us. You guys are the best!

Shaky Sean's son Sean who is in the Marines (thanks for your service) came out to see his dad play. Shaky Sean was one proud dad.

We were able to snag some new fans Miranda, Brandon, Sara, Ben and Brad. We were happy to see you that you could HANG with us!

Thanks to Brandon, Brad and Dave for helping us load up at the end of the night. You guys were a ton of help!

Wedding Reception

July 22, 2011 this was one of those days that if anything could go wrong it did. DJ was frantically looking for the words to one of the new songs, the phone tree was put to use and we found that Jammin Joe had them in his guitar case. The reception was on the 2nd floor so we had to haul everything up in the elevator when we had just a few things left a cart appeared. DJ forgot the box with the cords. Had to run back to the house to get them. Shaky Sean pulled DJ's truck around back and locked it so we couldn't get in. We finally got a hold of a tow truck to come unlock it. Shaky Sean's kick pedal wasn't working so we had to make an emergency run out to the trailor to find the other one. A few songs into the first set we blew a breaker which haulted things for a few minutes. Someone just cruised by on a scooter. You never know what's going to happen when Stolen Horses comes to play but we always ROCK the house!!

Band Practice

July 20, 2011 we had practice at DJ's. We practiced 4 new songs for a wedding reception.

Shaky Sean walks in and checks the fridge.....not enough beer....so ofcourse a beer run was made. A bottle of Fire Ball was passed around....that is bound to cure what ails ya.

DJ and Shaky Sean were messing around with some words....Let's put it this way....it was not "G" rated.

We started out with Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis. Things were going good until a cat was heard (one of the guys). Sometimes it's easier to not to try to figure them out. We do work well together and try to help each other out when needed. Then you have Rockin Rusty asking Jammin Joe for a "dirty G string"....don't ask.

Rockin Rusty moved a monitor so Shaky Sean could hear better. So Shaky Sean being Sean burped in the microphone so he could hear himself burp. That's the little kid in him.

Rockin Rusty was adding new words to This Must Be Love, then as boys must do Shaky Sean had to add his own version. Jammin Joe learned the whole song in the wrong key...he quickly learned the right key. After some trial and error we came up with a great ending Stolen Horses style.

Rockin Rusty was making sounds like R2D2 when he asked if we wanted to hear the sound of CUP2, Shaky Sean joined in, it took Jammin Joe a few minutes to catch on.

Shaky Sean was tuning his tuner and let every one know he was enjoying it.

Keeper of the Stars was next, DJ plugged Jammin Joe's hole with a rubber...now get your minds out of the gutter! Those damn cats were back. Flying drum sticks...you can poke someone's eye out or drumsticks might be stuck up someone's nose.

DJ is trying to sing like a woman. "When we 69 and I said Haaaa chew." Jammin Joe is on all 4's pretending to eat a dog bone....don't ask.

We called it a night

Cow Jam 2011 with Josh Gracin

Our weekend started out Friday night, we joined a few of our GREAT fans in the campground area, Dave, Gail, Tina and James and our REAL good friend Tequilla Rose!! We played around the fire, sang some favorites and spent a few hours in the main bar with The Douglas James Band. DJ got up on stage and represented Stolen Horses well by singing a couple of songs, it was very enjoyable and nice and cool in there!!

Saturday brought the BIG SHOW....and more people coming in to camp and party. Great atmosphere...and the ENERGY was growing.....the rest of the band rolled in about 1:30 right behind Gracin's bus, he was late from the night before. It was nice to see some Stolen Horses Tshirts and tank tops on our way into camp. First cold beer was at 1:30 p.m. and all down hill from there....way to HOTT!!! We should have brought more beer...we forgot, Shaky Sean was THIRSTY...damn drummers!! DJ was tuning his guitar but kept breaking strings....Jammin Joe to the rescue with some spares. The stage is getting louder, we loaded and proceeded to stage left staging area. Gracin hasa kick ass bus!! Found out we were delayed till 3:30 start time, but actually started around 4:15. Found a young fan in the crowd and gave him a drum stick...he was EXCITED! Sound check took a long time but was worth the wait...the band was PUMPED and came out ROCKIN!!! Very nice view from the stage...lot's of Stolen Horses shirts in the crowd, thanks to our merch crew Pam and Brandy! After show was nice, the band was signing any thing they could...thanks to all that requested. Curtis Watkins...thanks for the awesome pictures! We appreciate the support!! (Request from our drummer....more pics of him please) Packed up as Brenda Loomis was on stage...man, this was hot!! Nice to be the first band....first dibs on the beer :) in the stage area.

The band played great, Rockin Rusty was especially animated...probably because he was trying to impress his mom....but then again she came all the way from Florida to see him.

(Embarrassing moment) ........When Shaky Sean was leaving his drums he leaned on the keyboards (of Gracin's band) they moved slightly...giving him a heart attack....we don't need this!!

Moved back to the campground....unloaded....Thanks to all that helped....we were exhausted. Next hour was onion and pickle wraps, cold beer and deep fried wings and spaghetti salad. Thanks so much Dave and Gail!! On the way out, we stopped to listen to Shelagh Brown, AWESOME!! Thanks to the Cow Jam staff for a fantastic time! DJ and Brandy were in the crowd for Josh Gracin, and then back to camp to PARTY!! What an AMAZING time we had!!

WOW!! What a great turn out last night in Lowell. We had so much FUN!! Looking out from the stage and seeing the hundreds of people enjoying our music was AMAZING!! We had lot's of dancers including 93 year old Lavern, what a joy to see someone enjoy themselves as much as she did. It was great seeing the group of Red Hats enjoying the concert for their group outing.  A big THANK YOU to all of you who bought our CD's and had us sign them. We LOVE meeting our fans after the show. We hope to see you at Sand Lake on Saturday night!
